Luke Bryan: An Award-winning Country Star
Luke Bryan is one of the U.S.’s most popular country stars, with a string of hits behind him. Since he released his first album in 2007, Bryan has gone on to rack up millions of sales and numerous accolades.
He found success in the music industry as a songwriter before debuting as a performer, writing tracks for Travis Tritt and Billy Currington in the mid-2000s. But it was with the release of his debut single, All My Friends Say, that Luke Bryan music performed by the man himself hit the charts.
This first track peaked at number five on the Hot Country Songs chart, leading the way for more success in 2007, when Capitol Nashville launched his debut album, I’ll Stay Me. As he worked on the lyrics for almost all of the album’s songs, I’ll Stay Me displayed Bryan’s vocal and writing capabilities brilliantly.
The second song from I’ll Stay Me was We Rode in Trucks, followed by Country Man. Both tracks charted in the Hot Country Songs chart, helping Bryan to make a name for himself in the country scene.
